Painting
There are so many books that will tell you about the history of painting and the different types of painting techniques and the masters will tell you that you can not mix the mediums, but in my creative corner, there is not a CAN NOT. I believe you can create with what you have, you must just know the limits of the different mediums and how you can use them together to get the effects you want.
Early in my life I started to paint with water color paint. It was available and it was not so expensive. Combined with drawing and ink, one can get beautiful paintings and as I was very much then in painting wild flowers, some of my paintings was fit for illistations.
Today I tend to work more with acrylics as it is quick drying and I can see the results quicker. In the following web pages, I will touch on more of the mediums I used and will even include some step-by-step training on using some of the materials.
